Derweil sind Ray und die Electra-Crew nach Sachs Harbour unterwegs, wo sie eine außergewöhnliche Fracht an Bord nehmen sollen: Wolle, Haut und Fleisch von 250 Moschusochsen. Und Mikey bereitet sich mit Fitnesstrainerin Tara auf den 45 Kilometer langen Schneeschuh-Marathon vor.

Die Doku-Serie "Ice Pilots" handelt von einer unorthodoxen Fluggesellschaft im Norden Kanadas. Die in Yellowknife stationierte Buffalo Airways fliegt Propeller-Flugzeuge aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg und versorgt so weit entfernte Außenposten mit lebenswichtigen Gütern. Die abenteuerlustigen Piloten trotzen dabei eisigen Temperaturen und Unwettern, um Menschen und Frachten über die Arktis zu fliegen.
