Sheldon will herausfinden, warum sich Elektronen beim Durchqueren einer Graphen-Schicht verhalten, als hätten sie keine Masse. Dieses Problem raubt ihm sowohl den letzten Nerv als auch den Schlaf. Er steigert sich immer mehr in das physikalische Problem hinein. Im Wissen, dass Einstein einen banalen Job hatte, als er die Relativitätstheorie entwickelte, beschließt Sheldon schließlich, sich einen "primitiven" Job zu suchen.
