Als die Maschine des Fluges 191 der Delta Airlines sich in der Nähe des Dallas Fort Worth Airports befindet, bahnt sich ein Sturm an. Trotz der Unwetterwarnung weicht der Pilot nicht vom Flugkurs ab. Als sich die Maschine Minuten später inmitten des Unwetters befindet, kommt es zur Katastrophe: Das Flugzeug stürzt ab, und 136 Menschen sterben. In der Sendung gehen Wissenschaftler den Unglücksursachen auf den Grund und suchen nach Möglichkeiten, wie man in Zukunft eine solche Tragödie verhindern kann.
